What Inspires Me:
Having a patient tell us we have given them the best eye exam that they have ever had.

Why I Love Eye Care:
We get to make patients young and old smile when they start to see clearly for the first time. It’s just a warming experience every time it happens.

Something We Don’t Know About You:
In 2012, I was inducted into my high school sports Hall of Fame. It was an incredible experience to share the evening with my beautiful wife and three awesome daughters.

Although I never pursued the field, before becoming an Optometrist, I was a licensed X-Ray technician.

It’s the only profession where you can instantly improve how someone sees the world.

My father. He believed that I could achieve my dreams no matter where that took me.

My wife and sons. It’s crazy at my house, but I can’t imagine it any other way.

I grew up on a farm in Northwest Iowa, and was very involved in FFA through high school and college.
