Let us help you find that special pair of glasses that adds a touch of personal style to your look every time you wear them!

Sunglasses

You don’t have to sacrifice your vision for sun protection. Choose a pair of prescription sunglasses so you can have the best of both worlds. Our optical store stocks a wide range of both prescription and non-prescription sunglasses to protect your eyes from the damaging rays of the sun. With a wide range of shapes, sizes, and colors, we are sure to have a pair that matches your style!

Contact Lenses

Many patients choose contacts because they don’t like how they look or feel in glasses. If you are one of these patients, we can perform a contact lens exam. We will discuss with you the reasons you are looking to transition from glasses to contacts. Then, we will complete an eye exam to determine the prescription that will work best for your unique eye needs.

If we determine contacts are the right choice for you, we will walk you through the different options. For example, we have contacts that need to be changed every day, once a week, or once a month, and each has its own sets of advantages and disadvantages that we will discuss with you. We will also teach you how to properly insert, remove, and sanitize your contact lenses so you can protect your eyes.

Daily Disposable Lenses

These lenses are perfect for people who don’t want to have to worry about cleaning their contacts—you throw them out at the end of the day and use a new pair the next day. We recommend daily disposable lenses for those who are new to wearing contacts or who lead a more active lifestyle. Brands we carry include:

  • Air Optix
  • Biofinity
  • PureVision
  • And more!
  • Hard-To-Fit Contact Lenses

Just because you have certain eye conditions doesn’t mean you can’t wear contacts. At EyeWorks, we stock contacts for several conditions that create “hard-to-fit” eyes.

  • Keratoconus: This condition results in a bulging cornea. Patients with this condition often find that contacts actually help them see better than eyeglasses do. We have gas permeable lenses and soft contact lenses for those with keratoconus, as well as scleral contact lenses and hybrid contact lenses. We will help you determine the right type of lens for your needs.

  • Astigmatism: Although we have several options for patients with astigmatism, the most common option is a soft toric lens. These lenses are specifically designed for astigmatism, so they are very comfortable and fit most patients with this condition very well.

  • Dry Eyes: Whether you have allergies that create dry eyes, or you have a chronic condition that results in low tear production, we have options for contacts that are specifically designed to hold in moisture and promote proper functioning of the tear ducts.

  • Ortho-K

Ortho-K stands for orthokeratology. This is a non-surgical treatment in which patients wear custom, therapeutic contact lenses that reshape the cornea overnight to correct the vision. The patient wears the contacts while sleeping and usually does not need to wear glasses or contacts the next day. As long as the patient wears the contacts every night, the reshaping effects will last. Once the patient decides to pursue another treatment, they can stop wearing the contacts, and the cornea will revert to its original shape. Our offices provide testing to determine if Ortho-K is the right treatment for a patient. It can be effective for those with nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, and other conditions.

Contact one of our offices today to schedule a vision or contact lens exam! We look forward to showing you all of the options our optical store has to offer and helping you pick the frames or contact lenses that meet your unique vision needs.
